Dropped Needle On Floor

Suppose we have a floor made of parallel strips of wood each the same width and we drop a needle onto the floor.

I have been lucky so far that it has been found in the sofa on the floor on my sleeve under the sofa how does that happen. I do worry that my dogs will find it before me but dh has been great at crawling around with a flashlight.

It s really small and i ran a strong magnet over it and nothing happened. I don t know if the flashlight trick will work for that. About 1 2 an inch. If you have a strong magnet put it on a short pole and sweep the floor and furniture with it.

I was felting and saw that the needle snapped but i don t think it s stuck in the thing i was felting. Which leaves one choice left. That might find it. Well the insulin bottle came out at the same time fell on the floor and broke.

You could try a vacuum with a stocking tied to the end it might catch the needle. It s somewhere on my desk or on the floor.
